Driver busted for 715 pounds of marijuana

OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics says a truck driver was delivering a load of chicken to Tinker Air Force Base last week when the drugs were discovered.

The OBN says searchers found 35 boxes of raw marijuana and several thousand small containers of marijuana oil in the truck's trailer.

Investigators believe the marijuana was being trafficked from California to New Jersey.

The marijuana was stashed among about 25,000 pounds of frozen chicken.

The truck's driver, Ashot Grigoryan, was booked in the Oklahoma County jail on a drug-trafficking charge.

At the time of his arrest, Grigoryan was already on probation out of the state of Missouri for a previous trafficking case.
