Tulsa, Okla. - Most people are probably hoping for a break from severe weather after all the severe thunderstorms and tornadoes last week, but it looks like more storms could hit Tulsa, mainly on Tuesday.
"Look for a 70 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms tomorrow night, a few severe," said News on 6 meteorologist Travis Meyer.
Fortunately, there's been no mention of tornadoes from any of the forecasters so far for the Tulsa area.
"Any risk of tornadoes right now appears to stay to our northwest, more along the high plains and up into central Kansas, but we'll have to watch that, so again, get ready," Trav says.
High winds and moderately severe hail are the primary threats with these storms.
Trav said there's a slight risk of storms late tonight going into Tuesday morning, and then again on Wednesday and Thursday, but he says that right now, Tuesday night has the highest risk.
