Disabled vet about to be homeless thanks to government shutdown

Out on the street. That's where one disabled veteran is about to find himself thanks to the government shutdown.

He doesn't want KRMG using his name but says, because of the shutdown, he isn't able to get his disability or Veterans Administration benefits. He says, "The 30 dollars a month that I'm living on is going to lead to me living on absolutely nothing and lead to me living under a bridge."

It gets worse. He can't qualify for food stamps even if he wanted them. He says, "I'm not asking for a handout. I've only asked for what was promised me in the contract that they've held me to since I joined the military."

He's reached out to Senators Coburn and Inhofe but says the VA is giving them the same runaround he is getting.
