Deck repair on BA XPWY bridge at Lewis closes lanes

Crews will have lanes closed on and off Tuesday on the westbound Broken Arrow Expressway bridge over South Lewis Avenue Tuesday.

They will be fixing a hole that has developed in the bridge, and it will mean slow going for traffic inbound to the downtown area.

ODOT hopes to have the job done before rush hour, but most of that traffic will be outbound from downtown and that will help reduce any problems if they run late.

The outside (right) lanes of westbound expressway and southbound S. Lewis Ave. will both be closed until repairs are completed.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation asks the public to slow down and be careful around the workers, and to expect delays in the area.
