Death toll in Friday’s storms rises yet again

Four more deaths have been blamed on the tornadoes and flooding last week.

The medical examiner's office said 18 people have died as a result of the storms that moved through the Oklahoma City area late Friday.

Death toll had been raised to 14 just yesterday.

Spokeswoman Amy Elliott says the dead include 12 adults and six children.

Seven remain unidentified.

The National Weather Service says five tornadoes touched down Friday, along with heavy rain that caused widespread flooding.

Some victims were found later because their bodies floated away.

The Oklahoma City Fire Department says a 34-year-old woman remains missing.
