Daughter calls police on drunk driving mother

It's not uncommon for police to receive calls about drunk drivers on Thanksgiving.

On Thursday, police received a call from an unlikely source.

Tulsa police say a woman's daughter called them to say her mother was drunk and driving.  They were headed home from having Thanksgiving at her grandmother's house.

Officers caught up to Lindsey Silva at a home near 193rd and Admiral.  Police say the daughter ran toward them and informed them her mother was driving on the wrong side of the road and almost hit multiple vehicles.

Plus, officers found out there was a second daughter inside the vehicle while the mother was driving.

Police say they confronted Silva who confessed to drinking and said I "made a huge mistake."

Silva was taken to the Tulsa County Jail and faces at least one count of child endangerment.
