Dairy Queen confirms that it is building a restaurant in Broken Arrow.
A company spokesman tells KRMG that the store is scheduled to open in November at Kenosha and 129th, next to Ted's Cafe Escondido.
Okmulgee, Wetumka and Grove are the only Dairy Queen restaurants within 100 miles of Tulsa, although there is a small Dairy Queen-Orange Julius stand in the Woodland Hills Mall in Tulsa.
