Crooks are ready to take advantage of the winter weather.

Carol Bush with the Crime Prevention Network tells KRMG she sees it every time the white stuff falls. Bush says, "People were losing their power so people were losing their homes."

Bush says that is an inviting target for burglars.

Things don't get better when the storms move out. Bush says, "The worst is the scams after the fact."
