Jurors didn't buy an insanity defense, and instead found a man guilty Friday night of shooting a Tulsa deputy on the courthouse plaza in March of 2012.
Court records show no verdict was reached against 25-year-old Joseph Dennehy for shooting with intent to kill.
Instead, they found him guilty of assault and battery with a deadly weapon.
Court records show jurors gave him a 20-year sentence for the conviction. He also received three years and 10 days for lesser charges.
