OWASSO, Okla. - An Owasso couple is burglarized while they are out of town and they are able to figure out who stole their stuff.
Catherine Sharp and her husband returned from a weekend trip to find their bedroom window shattered.
Once inside their home, they discovered their TV, hundreds of DVD's, thousands of comic books and plenty of other stuff missing.
Sharp says the loot was worth more than $20,000. "Blood, sweat and tears," she says. "Working, saving, budgeting. It's a hard thing to do but we did it for years."
The thief also moved Sharp's car out of the garage to make stealing her stuff easier.
It got worse for the couple when they tracked down some of their possessions to a resale shop in Tulsa.
The shop had a record of who sold the stuff, someone they thought was a friend.
The Sharps are upset. Sharp says, "There's the anger and bitterness. You want them to suffer like you had to suffer. You want them to not be able to sleep like you weren't able to sleep."
