Couple accused of locking child in room, abusing him

KRMG has learned four children have been removed from a home in El Reno, after deputies learned a 6-year-old was locked up and abused.

Canadian County deputies tell FOX25 News they received a tip the child was locked in a small room, given very little food, and was forced to go to the bathroom in a bucket.

When they arrived at the home of Edward and Krystal Everett, they were led to the room.  The door was locked from the outside.

Deputies say the boy was found inside the room, wearing only underpants.  He had several noticeable injuries to his face and body.

All four children have been put into protective custody.

Deputies say the Everetts have been taken to the Canadian County Jail.

He faces counts of child abuse and child neglect.  She faces a count of enabling child abuse.
