Copper thief found hiding under his bed

A burglary victim helps officers catch a copper thief.

Tulsa police say 22-year-old Dustin Lee Tucker is accused of breaking into a dry cleaners back on April 19th.  The victim saw Tucker carrying copper by his store on Thursday and helped police track him down to his home.

Officers were welcomed into the home and were told the suspect could be found in his room.  Police say Tucker was found hiding under his bed and the copper was on a skateboard nearby.

It turns out the victim was right and the copper was stolen.  Police say Thursday's victim came to the home and confirmed the copper was stolen from his plumbing business.

Tucker faces several counts including larceny of copper.

He was taken to the Tulsa County Jail.
