Tulsa police are looking for three suspects who made a beer run, then assaulted the clerk overnight.
The holdup was reported at 3:13 a.m. Tuesday at the Quiktrip near 21st and Memorial.
We're told that two Hispanic males and a Hispanic female grabbed two cases of beer and started to leave the store.
Tulsa Police Sergeant Darren Bristow tells us, "The clerk in the store made a comment to ask them if they were going to pay for it at which point the female and one of the males began to assault the clerk."
We're told that the clerk received abrasions on her face, but refused to be transported to the hospital.
Officers found the getaway car abandoned near 1400 South 75th East Avenue with the beer and an inoperable cell phone still inside the vehicle.
The beer was returned to the store.
Bristow says a police canine was used to track the suspects, but the canine lost the scent after about thirty minutes of searching.
Police are looking at surveillance tape that was recorded at the store to see if they can identify the suspects.
