TULSA, Okla. —
Oklahoma transportation officials have now approved a $41 million contract for a bridge that would go over the Arkansas River here in Tulsa.
The bid that was accepted Monday is for construction of an eastbound I-244 bridge across the Arkansas River. This section would be right next to the westbound bridge that was just built.
The work will be done by the same company that built the westbound side. Manhattan Road and Bridge company will build the eastbound side.
