TULSA, Okla. - Clark Howard, host of the nationally-syndicated The Clark Howard Show on radio and TV, is back in Tulsa to join the Swindler family to present the Garcia Family the keys to their new home.
Martin and Rosa Garcia have worked alongside many community volunteers the past 2 months to build their home.
As part of the Habitat for Humanity program, the Garcias will repay a zero-interest mortgage over the next 20 years.
Habitat for Humanity will use that money to support building future Tulsa Habitat homes.
Burnett Siding, Thermal Windows, Countertop Solutions and Mullin Plumbing are some of the many local businesses that have joined to help with donations of materials.
Tulsa Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit Christian housing service dedicated to building decent, affordable housing in partnership with those in need in the Tulsa area.
Since 1988, Tulsa Habitat for Humanity has worked with 250 families to build homes that they will buy.
