City worker gets hit, suspect leaves the scene

We've learned a city worker was hit by a pickup Saturday night in the area of 11th and 177th.

Police say thy received the call around 9:50 p.m.

The driver stopped after hitting the victim, but didn't stick around for long.

Police say the driver asked if the victim was okay and then sped away from the scene.

When EMSA crews arrived, the city worker was transported to an area hospital.  She's said to be in stable condition.

Officers don't have a good description of the male driver.
