Tulsa, Okla. - Broken Arrow is already talking about it.
Tulsa COUNTY is too.
So we asked Mayor Dewey Bartlett if the CITY of Tulsa might also look at a ban on smoking in city parks.
And he said it merits discussion.
"The park environment is put in with the assumption of having a better place to exercise and enjoy peace of mind, not to have to put up with somebody having a big cigar, standing right next to us," Mayor Bartlett said.
He said officials with the City of Tulsa Parks Department have already been looking at the issue on their own, and he said he'd be glad to offer them his input if they'd like it.
