City responds to overnight storm damages in the area

Mayor Dewey Bartlett called a 9:30 press conference this morning to alert the public on storm recovery efforts and the condition of Tulsa's streets after last night's storms.

The city reports 31st from Utica to Lewis is closed due to downed power lines.  There are also multiple other roads with debris.

Crews are out right now working to clean up debris and get power restored.

The Red Cross is opening up cooling station for residents left without power from the storms.  The station is at the Crosstown Church of Christ located near Admiral and Harvard.  It will be open from 9:30 a.m. until 8 p.m.
