City manager turns himself into police

Owasso City Manager Rodney Ray turned himself in to police on Tuesday.

Tulsa County court records show he's been charged with passing a bogus check of more than $1,000 and with falsely reporting a crime.

He's accused of filing a police report claiming a check had been stolen.  Court records show the check had been written to a local hearing aid company.

Ray was taken to the Tulsa County Jail.

The jail says he posted a $2,000 bond and was released before 4:30 p.m.
