TULSA, Okla. - Councilors will present an informational video about river infrastructure to give citizens up-to-date information about the issue.
Councilor G.T. Bynum will host the video and present the findings of the Arkansas River Infrastructure Task Force, a group designed to explore the best course of action for the long-planned river corridor infrastructure.
The task force included representatives from surrounding communities and other stakeholders. The group conducted eleven fact-finding meetings from December 2013 through May 2014 to learn more about developing the river.
Monday's meeting will be held at the Tulsa Community College Southeast Campus Performing Arts Center for Education at 6 p.m.
The last three City Hall in Your Neighborhood community meeting dates and locations are as follows:
July 8: Districts 5 and 6 – Garnett Assembly of God, 2930 S. Garnett Road
July 28: Districts 1 and 3 – Rudisill Regional Library (Library Hall), 1520 N. Hartford Ave.
Aug. 4: Districts 2 and 9 – Jewish Federation of Tulsa, 2021 E. 71st St.
All meetings begin at 6 p.m. and end between 7:30 and 8 p.m.
