Citizens chase down church burglar

We've learned two citizens took it upon themselves on Wednesday to check the Happy Acres Cowboy Church in Mounds, a day after it had been burglarized.

A short time after they arrived, the two men spotted Cesar Estrada exiting the church and he had no business being there.

Tulsa deputies say the two men then followed Estrada in separate vehicles.

Eventually, he pulled over and let another man out of his car.

The two citizens then pulled in to try and catch Estrada.  They boxed in his car with their two vehicles.

Deputies say one of the men exited his vehicle with a shotgun and pointed it in the suspect's direction.  Estrada didn't want to stick around, so he attempted to run over the man.

The citizen then fired multiple shots at Estrada's vehicle, causing him to stop and put his car into reverse.  While in reverse, he almost hit the other man.

Deputies say both men then rushed him, pulled him out of his vehicle, and subdued him until law enforcement could arrive.

After searching Estrada's vehicle, deputies found stolen items from the church.

He was then taken to the Tulsa County Jail, where he's a hold for ICE.

No mushot is available for Estrada.
