We all like Christmas lights, but right now is NOT a good time to climb on your roof, with all the ice and snow.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission says around 15,000 people wound up in a hospital emergency room from injuries related to Christmas decorations.
Some were even killed.
The CPSC says 33-percent of the injuries were from falls, 11-percent were cuts, 10-percent backstrains and the rest fall under the miscellaneous category.
They say there are lots of Christmas tree fires, too.
And they say the number of injuries has gone UP during the past few years, not down, so be careful.
