Tragedy strikes after two adults and a child try to cross a busy Tulsa roadway.
The accident happened about 7:20 p.m. Monday near 6200 South Peoria.
Tulsa Police Sergeant Jim Clark tells us, "A child in a stroller approximately two years of age was being taken across Peoria westbound from the Warehouse Market when a southbound vehicle struck all three individuals."
Clark says that the child died about two hours later at the hospital.
Both adults were injured, one of them critically.
Clark says the driver was not cited for any traffic violations.
Clark advises drivers need to watch out for pedestrians at night who may not be using crosswalks or crossing at an intersection.
