Child found wandering down the street

An Oklahoma City 5-year-old was found wandering the streets by himself on Wednesday.

Police tell Newsok.com the unidentified boy was spotted by a store employee who then stopped him to see what he was doing.  The employee immediately called 911.

Officers arrived and escorted the boy home.  The boy reportedly told officers he was headed to see a friend.

Police say when they arrived at the boy's home, his mother, Tegan Cronk, was asleep.

Once inside the house, they found marijuana next to where she was sleeping.  Police say there also trash and food everywhere.

Cronk was taken into custody.

Her three children were taken into protective custody.  Police say the other two children were at school.
