Tulsa, Okla. - We've learned a Tulsa suspect returned to the well one too many times on Saturday.
Police say David Teays had burglarized a home near 25th and Memorial on Friday. He got away with a debit card and a watch.
Teays returned to the home yesterday in an attempt to steal the victim's ID.
This time, Teays luck ran out.
The homeowner caught him, pulled a gun, and kept him on the ground until officers could arrive. While they were waiting, Teays is said to have told the victim, "Please don't turn me in, and I will return the other stuff I took from you."
Once Teays was in custody, officers recovered the stolen items.
Teays is a convicted felon.
