Brother beats brother with pot plants

The call came in as domestic abuse but turned into much more.

When police arrived, they found Rodney Brown and his brother Jackie had been in a fight.

Not only did they swing fists, Rodney went the extra mile. He and ripped three feet long pot plants out of the ground, and used them to whack his brother.

The Polk County, Florida arrest record says, "the victim and suspect are brothers by birth, reside at the same residence and currently live together as a family. The victim stated on Saturday, he and the suspect were engaged in a verbal argument. During this argument the suspect uprooted several cannabis plants varying in lengths up to three feet and then actually and intentionally struck the victim in the face with the plants."

WTSB reports Rodney Brown was arrested on a multitude of charges including domestic battery, possession of marijuana over 20 grams, cultivation of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Brown has already bonded out of jail as he awaits trial.
