Broken Arrow teen charged with raping girl

Update: A Broken Arrow teen was charged Friday with raping a 15-year-old girl.

Tulsa County court records show 18-year-old Brian Jones is accused of having sex with the girl despite her saying no multiple times.

He originally told officers nothing happened.  He then changed his story, saying they had sex and the teen didn't say yes or no.

Original story: An 18-year-old teen is accused of raping a 15-year-old girl at his friends house on August 1.

Broken Arrow police say Brian Jones was booked early Saturday morning after being stopped for an expired tag.  He also had two city warrants.

Police say the teen changed his story several times when he was asked about what happened with the 15-year-old victim.

First, he told officers nothing happened at all.  Police say he tried to make himself out to be a good friend who was making sure the girl was safe.

After consenting to a DNA test, officers say his story changed.  He confessed to sleeping with the teen, but added the girl didn't say yes or no.

The victim told officers she said no several times.  Police say Jones is accused of forcefully taking off her pants and holding her down while performing a sexual act.

She told officers Jones wouldn't get off her, despite her attempts to push him away.

Jones is currently at the Tulsa County Jail.  In addition to his warrants, he faces one count of first-degree rape by force or fear.
