TULSA, Okla. - Broken Arrow police say a hit-and-run driver struck and killed a pedestrian late Friday night.
It happened about 11:30 p.m. on Washinton (E. 91st St.) near the intersection of Dogwood Ave., west of 145th E. Ave.
Sgt. Ed Ferguson tells KRMG the pedestrian, an adult male, was apparently walking east on the north side of the road when a westbound vehicle struck him.
No one saw the collision, but evidence at the scene leads investigators to believe the driver was in a 1998-2003 Chevrolet S-10 pickup or possibly Blazer.
They believe the truck is white or silver in color, and that it would have damage to the passenger side front and the windshield.
Police urge anyone with information about the suspect vehicle to call Broken Arrow Police at 918-259-8400 or the Crime Stoppers number 918-596-COPS.
