Broken Arrow City Manager Thom Moton turned in his resignation on Friday.
Moton said he’s leaving his position with the city to explore other opportunities and to spend more time with family. Moton has been BA’s city manager for about two years.
Before his separation from the city is complete, the Broken Arrow City Council must first approve the separation agreement between the two parties.
As part of that agreement, Moton would receive severance package from the city worth about $90,000.
The city council must also appoint a new ‘acting’ city manager once the resignation is accepted.
