TULSA - Ten businesses are without water near 41st and Memorial.
Crews were called to the intersection Tuesday night to repair a 12-inch waterline break.
The northbound curb lane is closed.
You'll want to avoid the area if possible on your way to work and school.
Workers on the scene tell KRMG they've been working for hours to try and get through a tough piece of concrete that's blocking access to the broken pipe.
At about 6:30 a.m., they said it could take several more hours to complete repairs, but they won't know for sure until they can actually look at the break.
Another break was reported at 22nd and Jackson. Motorists should avoid this area as Jackson will be closed for crews to make repairs.
City leaders say water use and waterline breaks have been well below the five-year average.
Crews have responded to 55 waterline breaks in July compared to the five-year average of 161.
Through Aug. 4, 2014, water use has averaged 111 mgd. The five-year average for August is 147 mad.
Tune in to News 102.3 KRMG for updates on when all of the lanes will be back open.
