Oklahoma City - The State Department of Health reports that another Oklahoman has died from West Nile Virus.
The most recent death occurred in Tulsa County.
State Health Department spokeswoman Pamela Williams says the deceased patient is a man over the age of 65.
The name of the dead man has not been released.
The number of deaths statewide rose from seven to eight since last week's update from the health department.
The total number of West Nile cases also rose from 123 to 127.
Seventy-seven people have been hospitalized with the disease.
Oklahoma County has 41 diagnosed cases of West Nile Virus, the most in the state.
That's followed by Tulsa, Carter, and Pittsburg counties.
