Boston mobster convicted of killing Tulsa man sentenced to life

James "Whitey" Bulger, the Boston mob boss convicted in the killing of Tulsa businessman Roger Wheeler and 10 others, has been sentenced to life in prison.

The 84-year-old was also convited of a slew of other charges including extortion and money laundering.

Today, Judge Denise Casper told Bulger his crimes were "heinous" and "all about money."

She then sentenced him to two consecutive life sentences, plus five years.

Wheeler's son David was one of several people who read victim impact statements at Bulger's sentencing.
