Bomb threat causes evacuation of Muskogee County Courthouse

The Muskogee County Courthouse has been evactuated after a woman called the District Attorney's office and made a bomb threat, said Muskogee County Sheriff's Captain Brandon Caster.

Caster said the Oklahoma Highway Patrol's bomb squad was doing a search of the building with a K-9 unit.

He said all the court cases going on inside the building had to be recessed while the search is going on.

He said the telephone company was helping them trace the number and they were hopeful they would have some suspect information soon.
