TULSA, Okla. - A local news crew found the body of 14-year-old Dario Hogan just before 10:00 Sunday morning.
He was found near Pine and Yale after friends reported him missing Saturday night.
Tulsa firefighters spent about seven hours walking the banks of a Tulsa creek overnight looking for Hogan.
The teen was seen playing in the creek with two other boys his age.
Tulsa Fire Captain Michael Baker tells KRMG News that they responded to a 911 call at 8:45 Saturday night from a family stating that three young teens were playing in a creek near E. Pine Street and N. Yale Ave. in Tulsa.
Another of the boys was rescued by a friend.
Tulsa Fire set up search positions on the bridges and has been seeking to verify the boy’s disappearance.
Fire crews are walking the banks of the creek for several miles in search of the boy or clues about his disappearance.
Tulsa Police and EMSA crews are assisting in the search.
The Tulsa Police helicopter was also called in.
Officers searched for Hogan from the air using the helicopter's spotlight and infrared systems.
The Fire Department tells KRMG the current was very strong, deep and fast at the time of the disappearance.
The other two boys who were joining Dario at the time are said to be home and in good health.
