Black Friday: Your traffic and crowd info here

It really all began months ago.

The planning, the mapping, and the saving so the Black Thursday\Friday deals could be yours! We've been out since Thursday afternoon, here's what's happening on a minute by minute basis.

Thursday, 4:45:  Best Buy line around the store and down the 169 side . Looks to be about 100 or so. First guy in line is a San Springs Student who has been here since Sunday. "I went to school and then switched out with friends," he told me.  The store opens at 6:00 and he as a couple of big screen TV's on his radar.

Thursday, 5:05: The line at Target is smaller. About 60 or so brave souls waiting mostly for electronics. "I'm reading a book by a Tulsa girl" one anxious to shop young lady told me. Store opens at 8:00 so the crowd will more than likely grow.

Thursday, 5:21: Toys-R-Us is already open and the prking lot is like a monster truck rally. People are about to park one on top of the other to get as close as they can to the door. "I'm in a hurry" one shopper shouted to me as he ran past on his way out.

Thursday, 5:47: Back at Best Buy and this is new, we had a marrige proposal here. Charlie and Jean are at the front of the line and he went to one knee and asked for her hand. She said yes! Now they're about to head inside for the first buy they will make as an engaged couple!

Friday, 3:35 AM: On the roads and surprisngly, it's really light. Traffic on 71st street near the Best Buy and Woodland Hills is about like an average Sunday afternoon in the summer. Most of the stores opened Thursday so things are pretty quiet.

Frday, 4:02 AM: Bass Pro is hopping. Last year they opened Friday morning and it was a real zoo out here. This year they went with a Thurday opening and the parking lot is still full but not as bad as 2012. You will need to cruise to find parking but it's possible.

Friday, 4:45 AM: Toys-R-Us on 71st and Memorial is as busy as it was last night. Cars everywhere and giant packages leaving the store.

Friday, 6:01 AM:  OK, they're geting a second wind out on the roads. At 71st and Mingo the Dick's Sporting Goods, Gordmans, and Bed Bath and Beyond are open and the lot is full. Home Depot across the street is loaded now as well.

Friday, 6:10 AM:  I just talked to a Tulsa policeman who has been out most of the night. He says things have been quiet other than a call for a fight at Toys-R-Us. No word on who won or if they got the toys they were after.

Friday, 7:05 AM: A water line break at 61st and Garnett will make your drive to work interesting if you go through that intersection. Crews tell KRMG news they think the line is fairly large, mayb e 12 imches. They also think it's on the Broken Arrow side of the road and will tale as long as 12 hours to fix.
