TULSA - A viral Internet video featuring Bill Nye, the "Science Guy," sparked a lot of debate, eventually leading to an actual debate between Nye and the founder of the Creation Museum in northern Kentucky.
Ken Ham made a video to answer Nye's, and the two eventually decided on a face-to-face showdown.
Tickets to the debate at a 900-seat venue located at the Creation Museum reportedly sold out in just two minutes at $25 apiece.
While the museum has had a lot of criticism, its higher profile thanks to the ongoing argument sparked by Nye's comments have greatly increased its web traffic.
The museum attempts to document the theory that the planet is only about 6,000 years old, and depicts dinosaurs as living simultaneously with humans.
Scientists believe humans didn't appear on the planet until more than 60 million years after the last dinosaur had died.
