The 2013 Green Country Home and Garden show is underway inside the Exchange Center building at Expo Square. The show features some of Tulsa’s best when it comes to products for your home and outdoor life.
Home security is a big deal and the new kid on the block is Cox. Yes, the same people who bring you cable, home phone and internet service are now in the security field as well.
“We saw a chance to integrate this with our other products and it just made great sense” Matt Byers with Cox told KRMG news. Cox isn’t just sticking a toe in the water, they’re jumping in neck deep with innovations that make home security more portable and accessible to home owners and those who live in apartments as well.
“Its security but its reinvented security to the point where we have a lot of automation features that don’t exist in the market right now” Byers pointed out.
The biggest of the features is the ability to do an entire home or apartment wirelessly so there are fewer modifications to a structure. The other thing Byers is proud of is the how much you can do from outside the home. “The system allows you to control and see everything in your house on your phone, iPad or a computer at work.”
Over 170 exhibitors have set up over 300 booths ranging from down home to over the top with products from all across the spectrum.
The show runs until 7:00 pm Friday night, then 10:00 am until 7:00 pm on Saturday and 11:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sunday.
Entry to the show is $5.00 at the door on the south side of the Exchange Center.
