Bicyclist hit by van, driver leaves scene

KRMG has learned an Oklahoma City bicyclist was hit by a van Friday night.

Police say the unnamed driver got out, pulled the bike out from under his van, and then took off.  The incident happened near Shields Boulevard and SE 44.

Officers were able to track the suspect down a short time later.  He's currently being questioned.

The bicyclist was taken to a nearby hospital.  No word on her condition.

Her name and age wasn't released.
