YORK, UK - Designers say the “scent” is, “a fearsome musk of battle gore, sweat, mead, forest pine, meat, seawater and the smoke of burning fires.”
Sounds good huh?
The cologne is called “Norse Power,” and it’s being promoted by the city of York in the United Kingdom.
How does it smell? One woman described it as a cow. A man claims it smells like he does “after a 13-hour workday.”
It’s all part of the city’s marketing campaign, and it doesn’t stop with Vikings.
There’s also leather, wood, old books, and dust.
It doesn’t appear you can actually buy the smelly concoction but you can buy a real cologne called Viking if you’re interested.
