Beer can DNA sends thief to jail

If the bad guy had been to a good 12 step program he might still be on the loose.

But when Moses Wilson decided a couple of barley pops were more important than finishing his burglary, he took a break. Wilson drank a few beers he found in the vacation home and then went on stealing copper pipe.

When cops in Onondaga County New York tested the cans they matched the DNA to the thief and arrested him.

Wilson faces charges of burglary and petit larceny while being held on $10,000 bail.
