BAPD officer arrested for sexual battery

From City of Broken Arrow:

Broken Arrow, Okla. (Dec. 9, 2013) – A Broken Arrow police officer was arrested over the weekend by the Tulsa Police Department on a charge of public intoxication and is being investigated for sexual battery.

Officer Jimmy McBee, 34, has since tendered his resignation effective Friday, Dec. 13. The administrative investigation has ceased.

McBee was hired with the Broken Arrow Police Department in December of 2005. He was previously employed as an officer with the Collinsville Police Department.

During his time with BAPD, Officer McBee has been assigned to the Patrol Division. Officer McBee has worked all three patrol shifts during his tenure with this department and is currently assigned to second (day) shift.

All questions pertaining to the investigation regarding the incident that occurred in the City of Tulsa should be directed to the Tulsa Police Department.
