Babysitters answer to "disrespectful" kids, set house on fire

Police have surveillance video showing Martha Dreher leaving the house as a fire began.

While Dreher denies starting the blaze, the evidence is stacking up against her.

The Texas woman worked for several months as a babysitter for Glenn Williams and his two girls, but apparently she didn’t like it.

Williams told KVUE in Austin Dreher said, "that it was horrible, that the girls, my oldest, had been very disrespectful."

Austin, Texas cops say the girl’s brother found the fire when he came home. It was quickly contained but thousands of dollars of smoke damage was done.

Williams believes the fire was set with a specific goal in mind.

"They could have set the whole house on fire, and they actually closed the doors so the fire was maintained in those rooms and burned itself out," he began. "So it was definitely a vendetta against the two girls," said Williams. 

Dreher’s attorney Amber Bode denies the claim. “The thing that we are going to be pushing for in addition to, obviously, lie detector tests and everything else that we can do to prove her innocence — is evidence,” she told ABC
