Babysitter convicted of murdering small child

It didn't take jurors long to convict Van Le of first-degree murder on Thursday.

Oklahoma City court records show it took less than an hour.

Le is accused of murdering a two year-old girl back in September.  She was the child's babysitter.

The child was found with multiple injuries.  Court records show she was taken to the hospital with a fractured skull and injuries to her eye and brain.

Le's jury recommended a sentence of life in prison.

She will be officially sentenced at a later date.
