The 1-month-old baby, named Aubrey, was said to be “awake and well-secured” as she was dragged down the aisle on her mother’s wedding dress.
After many people expressed concern over the incident, Shona Carter-Brooks used her Facebook page to defend herself.
“We do what we want when we want long as Jesus on our side everything worked out fine and gone continue to be fine.”
Shona continued by saying Aubrey was “covered by Christ,” and was never in danger or being hurt.
Friends like Pamela Stone agreed with Carter-Brooks, writing, “your wedding was super perfect from the groom and his men and you and your diva’s baby you rock the gown and the princess tagging behind you it brought tears to my eyes.”
