The child was born outside in the freezing temperatures of Toronto, Canada. The child’s mother was trying to walk to the hospital but didn’t make it before giving birth.
The temperatures were near zero when the mom gave birth and the child was taken into a hospital. Staff there didn’t feel a heartbeat and declared the newborn dead but two hours later a police officer saw movement and felt a pulse.
Doctors were called and the child was not only alive, but for the most part, unharmed.
