Auto-pedestrian crash on I-244 leaves woman in critical condition

An auto-pedestrian accident on I-244 leaves a woman hospitalized in critical but stable condition.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol tells us the victim, 53-year old Glenda Bradeen Tomlin of Tulsa, had gotten out of her Jeep with her emergency flashers on and was walking eastbound toward the Yale Avenue overpass when she attempted to walk across the highway.

We're told Tomlin had walked about .2 of a mile before she was struck by another vehicle driven by 40-year old Conjurel Wilson, Junior, of Broken Arrow about 11:05 p.m. Wednesday.

Wilson and a passenger in his 2014 Dodge Charger was not injured.

Tulsa police shut down traffic on I-244 as state troopers made their investigation.

Wilson got a ticket for driving without a driver's license.
