Authorities halt search for fetus

WEST SILOAM SPRINGS, Okla. —

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says a two-day search for reported remains of a human fetus turned up no remains and the search has ended.

The OSBI said Wednesday that agents searched Tuesday and Wednesday in a yard outside a home in West Siloam Springs and found no remains.

The agency says a tip led investigators to both dig in the yard and to use cadaver dogs to search the area. The agency says neither method turned up human remains and that the OSBI is no longer searching.
