The suspect in a domestic dispute may be wishing that he had not kicked a Tulsa police canine during his arrest Sunday night.
We're told a man assaulted his wife at a house near 25th and South Cincinnati about 10:52 p.m., then fled in a car.
The police helicopter was used to track the suspect to near 65th and South 72nd East Avenue where he jumped out of the car and ran.
But after the canine chased him down, the suspect kicked the dog and the dog bit him.
Tulsa Police Corporal Darren Froming tells us that the canine bit the suspect on "the upper left arm and shoulder area and he got him good."
The suspect was arrested and treated for the dog bite.
