David Jordan wanted to get the weed into the county jail but couldn’t figure out how.
But then the light bulb above his head went off and Jordan wrapped up the marijuana and tied it to an arrow and fired it into the jail.
The drawback came when a jail employee saw Jordan fire the arrow. He wrote down a license plate number and shortly after police knocked on his door.
When cops caught him Jordan was as creative with his excuse as he was with his idea.
He told them he was “shooting at a squirrel,” but could never explain “why squirrel hunting requires attaching marijuana to an arrow."
The Bellingham Herald reports the pot shot was high and wide ending up on the roof instead of the recreation area on the second floor where he wanted it to go.
KIRO-TV reports the archer will have charges of introducing contraband to a corrections facility, resisting arrest, and obstructing law enforcement filed against him.
And, he may want to get some lessons.
