Arrests made in 2-year-old case

A Tulsa man has been arrested on a murder complaint in the disappearance of a woman more than two years ago and his father was also arrested as an accessory.

Court documents show 49-year-old James Alexander was arrested Friday on a first-degree murder complaint in the disappearance of his girlfriend at the time, 38-year-old Tina Brashear in. Brashear's body has not been found since her disappearance in 2011.

The documents also show that his father, 84-year-old Jack Alexander was arrested as an accessory after his son was arrested.

Both are being held in the Creek County Jail at this time, and have not yet hired legal counsel.

A tip from a family friend led to the arrest of the two men.
